This document sets out the Terms and Conditions you need to be aware of when using this website. Please take a moment to read them, as they set out your important rights and obligations and I care about making sure we both know where we stand. When you visit this website, use my services or purchase my products you agree that you are over the age of 18 and willing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. I strongly believe in using best practice principles and a combination of evidence -based and traditional knowledge to educate and support both clients. I see clients at my consulting rooms for 1:1 consultations and via Telehealth on Practice Better. Your confidentiality is assured, and your personal and sensitive information is dealt with under my Privacy Policy. You can find a copy of this document on my website.
As a practitioner, I use my website, eBooks and videos to support my clients to improve their overall health and wellbeing. I offer consultations that cover lifestyle coaching, naturopathy, nutrition and herbal medicine.
My clients are those who are willing to work on change, and to implement the strategies for improvement that we choose together.
If we are working together, it is your responsibility to update me on any changes to your health, wellbeing and lifestyle. It is important that you provide me with accurate information in our consultations and when you sign my consent forms and fill out your information. You are expected to use your common sense at all times, and if something doesn't feel right, to contact me. If something is not working for you, then please let me know so we can adjust the plan together. It is your responsibility to ensure that you understand the information that I present to you. I will do my best to explain myself clearly, but I am always happy for you to ask me to explain a concept in a different way.
I am relying on you to ask for clarification of anything you don't understand, and to tell me about adverse reactions you might have to any therapy.
Herbal medicine and lifestyle change is not a replacement for any existing medical treatment you are undergoing. You are expected to continue any treatment plan provided by your doctor, and I will never tell you not to follow your doctor’s advice. If any problems arise while we are working together, please tell me so I can address the issues. If you are concerned that your symptoms are getting worse and I am not immediately available, please consult your treating team or seek urgent medical care.

Information is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only. You are welcome to share links to my content freely on social media so long as the links point back to my site. All information provided on the Teachable platform is for your personal and professional development only. It must not be copied or shared with anyone for any purpose.
PAYMENT TERMS
All consultations are to be booked through my website. You will need to fill out my intake forms and provide payment in advance for your first appointment unless alternative arrangements have been made. This shows your dedication to making a change in your lifestyle and caring for your health. Payment can be made by credit card, using Stripe. Local clients, and clients without internet access are welcome to book with me directly, either in person or over the phone. Subsequent appointments are paid following the appointment, where we are meeting face to face, or in advance at the time of booking for online calls.
SHIPPING
If I am treating you as a client, I may recommend you take herbs or supplements. If we are meeting online, I will suggest that you purchase these products directly from a reliable supplier. If we are meeting face to face, I may supply you with liquid herbal extracts and other supplements or make recommendations for you to purchase the appropriate products online.
DELIVERY OF SERVICES
I meet with face-to-face clients in my consulting rooms. Online consultations are generally provided via Practice Better conferencing software, which is available for free download, or by telephone. Messenger support is also available. When you book an online session, you are provided with a link by Practice Better. Practice Better will also send out a reminder email before the session. It is your responsibility to install any necessary software and ensure that you are ready to join me at the time of your appointment.
If you fail to show up for your appointment, you will forfeit your payment, as I have held that time open for you. I will ring you on the phone number which you have provided to me if you are 10 minutes late to the session, to find out why you have not turned up. If you cannot be contacted, you forfeit your payment. If you arrive late to a session, please be aware that we will still need to finish at the scheduled time so as not to inconvenience other clients.
If an emergency beyond your control has prevented you attending the session, please notify me as soon as possible, as I may be able to reschedule in some circumstances. If something happens that means I cannot attend a scheduled session, I will contact you to reschedule or offer you a refund.
RETURNS POLICY
You may cancel a booked consultation up to 24 Hours before the session is due to start to receive a full refund. After this time, a 50% refund will be applicable. If you have purchased practitioner-only products from me, the products may be returned unopened and undamaged for a refund. I do not offer any refund on opened products. There is no refund on herbal products as these are prepared specifically for your individual needs, after you have agreed at the consultation that you are prepared to take them. Any Stripe or PayPal charges incurred in processing your payment or your refund will be deducted from the amount refunded to you.
NEGOTIATION
If you have any issue or complaint arising out of your use of this website or these terms and conditions, you and I agree to make a genuine effort to resolve the dispute through negotiation and discussion.
MEDIATION
If we cannot reach an agreement, you may choose to lodge a complaint with the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA): https://www.australiannaturaltherapistsassociation.com.au/about/complaints-process/
or via the Health Complaints Commissioner at https://hcc.vic.gov.au/make-complaint
Alternatively, I may suggest bringing in a neutral third party (a mediator) to help us find a solution. The mediator is to be appointed by agreement between us or, if we have not reached agreement within twenty-one (21) days of the first notification of the dispute, by a person appointed by the Chair of the Resolution Institute, (ACN 008 651 232, Level 2, 13-15 Bridge Street, Sydney NSW 2000; telephone: 02 9251 3366, email: infoaus@resolution.institute) or the Chair’s designated. The Resolution Institute Mediation Rules shall apply to the mediation. We agree to share the costs of mediation equally between us.
